Groovy Plants Ranch
“It’s still work, you’re still doing things. But I like that it’s varied and that I get to be outside, and I’m not just sitting and doing the same thing every day.”
Liz Hughes never expected to transition from years of educating across elementary to college courses into owning a garden center. Luckily, she still gets to fulfill that passion for teaching at Groovy Plants Ranch.

Power Plant
Переглядів 8516 годин тому
“I think just having plants around…makes the space feel more alive. And just like we're all growing as like one.” Power Plant started as just a simple idea for a plant shop, all based around the name. Soon, the idea branched out and it became a local coffee spot for plant lovers. Produced and filmed by Zach Huber. Edited by Mary Lumley. Original score by Thomas Ropp.

He started using anything from scrap steel to silverware to sculpt flowers that have a unique, rustic look. A film by Jacopo Fantastichini.

“I try to kind of have both of those things visible at once…in a single piece there’s some kind of sense of the duality and unity between growth and decay.” When you venture into nature, you probably find yourself thinking about how naturally beautiful the environment looks. Artists strive to capture that beauty, and Tanya Marcuse does this by foraging and recreating natural scenes in her photo...

Nature is very artistic by itself.” The beginning of Roberta’s career in landscaping took a turn when the industry was shifting, leaving her to find another route for her work. She took a deep dive into the world of terrariums and Japanese kokedama art, and that landed her where she is today. A film by Bettin...

And at that time, I decided I wanted to be serious about plants.” A film by Jacopo Fantastichini.

Nice plants but they don't support our insects and wildlife in my region sadly... if you decide to get new business shirts , I'd suggest having your logo also on the upper left front area of the shirt , it's a good logo and would help promote it to people talking to you. Well done on your progress and views on plants

Thank you Plantpop for revealing this inspiring artist, he has some lovely thoughts, that I will take with me in my artistic process. I am a plant person, too and I always thought that nature is art, even in the middle of a big city, I can find art in the bark of trees and even the flowering weeds lol. Keeps me engaged. xx
